Trip Finder for specialist tour operators

Help undecided visitors find the right trip, and the right month.

Help visitors explore the trips you actually offer, choose a suitable month and give your specialists a structured brief before the first conversation. An operator-branded widget or hosted page, restricted to your trips.

How it works

1. Visitors describe the trip in their own words

Capture interests, ability, budget, party and flexible dates before the first call.

2. Recommend from your trips only

The intended operator setup shows relevant trips with reasons and suitable months from your approved rules. We validate this with your catalogue during evaluation.

3. Your team receives the brief

Each brief arrives in your MyEscapePlan enquiries inbox.
Walking and cycling

From an undecided couple to a useful brief

A fictional operator and eight sample trips. This is an illustration of the proposed operator journey, not a live integration.
Visitor asks
Fictional operator · illustrative example
We are a couple with moderate fitness. We would like e-bikes, local food and some walking, for seven nights in late September or October. Around £1,800 each, with dates flexible.
Trip Finder recommends
Late September is within this operator's best months. Seven nights, manageable lanes and e-bikes on request fit the brief. October needs specialist confirmation.

Where enquiries arrive

Each brief arrives in your MyEscapePlan enquiries inbox.
Review party, dates, ability, interests, budget, shortlisted trips and unresolved questions in your Business Portal (Advisor). Forwarding to your own email address is being built for founding operators. CRM delivery requires a separately scoped integration.

How month suitability is decided

During setup, we capture your approved rules for each trip and month, including grade limits and conditions notes, with a named owner and review date. We test their application during evaluation before go-live. Climate data adds context only, labelled as historical tendency, never a forecast or guarantee. Where rules do not cover a request, a specialist needs to confirm.

What it isn't

Trip Finder prepares the conversation with your specialists. It does not replace them or invent trips, departures or package prices. Live third-party price checks and external booking links are off by default in operator mode; any exception is explicitly agreed during setup.

How evaluation works

Start with a no-cost illustrative mock-up using up to eight of your published trips and their published best months. Real catalogue loading, rule tuning, delivery configuration and repeated revisions belong to a commercially agreed founding evaluation.
Together we test catalogue restrictions, month and ability rules, no-match responses and delivery of the brief. We agree usage, responsibilities, data handling and launch timing before using live customer data.

Questions before we speak

Where does the month knowledge come from?

During setup, we capture your approved rules for each trip and month, including grade limits and conditions notes, with a named owner and review date. We test their application during evaluation before go-live. Climate data adds context only, labelled as historical tendency, never a forecast or guarantee. Where rules do not cover a request, a specialist needs to confirm.

Where do enquiries arrive?

Each brief arrives in your MyEscapePlan enquiries inbox. Your team reviews the brief in the Business Portal (Advisor). Delivery to your own email address is being built for founding operators; it is not available today. Direct CRM delivery requires a separately scoped integration.

What does it cost, and is there a setup fee?

Founding operators: £299/month, fixed for six months. Standard price £399/month. Bounded standard setup is included; additional work is scoped and quoted before you commit. Founding places limited; subject to a scoped agreement.

How much work is setup, and how long does it take?

You provide your catalogue or trip themes, published pricing where relevant, approved month and ability rules, a rule owner and a website contact. We agree the quantity, usage allowance, responsibilities and launch plan. We confirm timing after reviewing your inputs and testing the journey; there is no fixed go-live promise.

What happens when nothing fits or a departure is full?

The intended operator journey offers a different month or asks a specialist to confirm, rather than inventing a trip or price. Departure availability is not assumed: your team confirms it unless a supported check has been explicitly agreed. We test no-match behaviour with your catalogue during evaluation.

Who else uses it?

We are onboarding our first founding operators and have no published case studies yet. The examples here are illustrative; your catalogue-to-enquiry journey is validated with you during evaluation.

How is customer data handled?

For your visitors' enquiries we act as your processor. We agree a data processing agreement with you before go-live. Before using live customer data, we agree fields, access, retention, deletion, storage locations and subprocessors with you.
